FOUR-HANDED CRIBBAGE

This is the basic six-card game for partners, who sit opposite each other and play against the other partnership.

The deal is usually five cards to each player, of which only one goes to the crib

THREE HANDED CRIBBAGE

Five cards are dealt to each player, only one of which goes to the crib. The game is 61 points and there is no 31-point limit. The player to the left of the dealer both leads play and has the first show. Otherwise the rules are as for basic six-card cribbage.

SEVEN CARD CRIBBAGE

Seven cards are dealt to each player and 181 points wins the game. Otherwise the rules are as for six-card cribbage.

FIVE-CARD CRIBBAGE card game

The rules are as for six-card cribbage with the following exceptions:

1) the aim is to win a game of 61 points;

2) five cards are dealt to each player; and

3) to compensate for not having the crib, the non-dealer pegs three points at the beginning.

SIX-CARD CRIBBAGE card game (FOR TWO PLAYERS)

AIM

The first player to go twice round the board, getting 121 points, wins the game.

DEALING

Players cut the deck and the one with the lower cut is first dealer. He deals six cards, face down and one at a time, to each player, beginning with his opponent. The rest of the deck is put aside.
